Southern Style Dental: Sonia Ring DMD

Dr. Ring and her staff are wonderful! The office is clean and well kept, wait times are minimal and she truly cares for her patients. The office staff are polite and explain procedures well and their follow up shows how much they care. Finding a good dentist can be daunting and I'm happy to have found southern style dental. She did a fantastic job on my botox for TMJ and They also offer non-insurance options for some normal maintenance procedures that were very well priced (like cleanings). Check them out!

I was referred to Southern Style Dental(SSD) from my wife, Cathy, who is also currently using SSD. I am receiving financial coverage for my dental cost via VA's Community Care Program. SSD's principal, DDS Sonia Nguyen-Ring has previously worked for the VA; SSD has been approved by VA as a service provider for oven 5 years. SSD arranged an appointment within a week of my request and approval; my first visit which was today was long because they were preparing my teeth for the six crowns and removed a tooth which was compromised. Their service was respectful, courteous and timely. Their facility was spotless; their equipment was state of the art. I am more than pleased with the service they provide and would highly recommend them to others.

Allow me to start with the front office staff. They were extremely professional, informative and caring. They explained every step of my treatment. What was going to happen and what the costs were as we went through each step. Dr. Mabry was incredible. She took great care in examining my cause of the pain I was having went into detail in regards to what was causing the pain and what were the steps to correcting that pain. She explained multiple options to me in detail. I am very uncomfortable with dentist offices and dentists but I felt extremely comfortable with this dentist office staff and Dr Mabry. I fully and highly recommend this dentist office and Dr Mabry.

Took my son for his first dental appointment today. Everyone was so welcoming and made him very comfortable. No tears at all. We saw Dr Mabry and she was a hoot but so professional. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!

I have had a LOT of dental work done in the past and as a new Florida resident was looking for a dentist who was an independent practitioner (not a chain) and had good reviews. I thought I had found a fit based on online research with Southern Style. However I was left in absolute confusion as my experience was what I would consider that of a chain (transactional, feel like a number not a person) at this practice. The man at the front desk was lovely and set my expectations high. But when I was brought back to the room, the attendant in scrubs never introduced herself or even exchanged the least of pleasantries before shoving the bite wing in my mouth. Again, I am experienced here and expected “I am going to do your x-rays, once you hear the beep feel free to release” etc. Nothing. Very a
