NEA Baptist Clinic Dialysis

I’ve been going for two months now and my experience has exceeded my expectations of what I would experience. I think the nurses are caring and knowledgeable. The dietitian has been very helpful with me to understand what I should avoid and why. The PRN checks in with me weekly and gives me updates on my progress. I’m rarely give 5 stars, but I feel like my experience has been great beside having renal failure and that this is my only option to stay alive until a transplant.

I've been doing dialysis for nearly 14 years at 6 different centers and this is the only one that I've been to that the staff makes no attempt to improve the quality of care for the patients. The staff is very detached and uninterested in the people they have CHOSEN to care for professionaly. As a PERSON that has no choice but to do this or die, I'm not used to being treated by medical professionals that care so little for the quality of care they provide through the treatment that is mandatory for me to survive and be productive. At times it is difficult having detached care providers that as a result my mental health is deteriorating alongside my physical well being. Well I don't know that "love" is the correct description but the nurses are nurses not techs so they are knowledgeable and more professional than techs can be. I believe most of the staff truly tries to make dialysis as comfortable as possible. They listen when you speak to them about issues! So important! Thank you!!
