We’ve had Dr.Silva for over 10 years. She’s an excellent doctor. The office staff have been changed quite a bit and at some points we were disappointed with the staff, but as of recently the office seems to be doing better. The Dr. herself is a 10 out of 10! There are two young lady staff members who work the front desk who also make sure we are seen and heard. Which both my wife and I appreciate.

Our son came 3 weeks early and they were able to take him as a patient. We haven’t had any issues with this practice. Dr. Silva has been awesome with our and son and my wife. She has made sure to make everyone feel comfortable with what is going on and the progress as a boy grows.

Our experience with NCH pediatrics has been terrible. Every single appointment we’ve had since my son was born has been rescheduled at the request of the office. They either double book, or the Dr is all of a sudden sick or on vacation. If you don’t arrive on time they’ll charge you, but they had no issue arriving to the office 30 minutes late for our 7:30am appointment, or asking you to reschedule less than 24 hours in advance. It’s impossible to get someone on the phone, just an answering service and the nurse is allowed 24-48 hours before calling you back. They say if it’s urgent to take the child to the ER. I’ve scheduled an appointment last week as a new patient for my son. Today, I received a phone call saying I need to fill out medical release form and if they don’t receive anything from our previous physician then our appointment would be canceled. I went there to fill out the form but didn’t have the fax number. One of the office staff was trying to help and asked the other one if they could call and ask their fax number and she said “no you have to call and ask” Well I tried calling and was on hold for 5 minutes. I’m sure they would be able to reach them easier then me. When I told them it’s not my fault what they’re asking for they said they would call. I had to schedule this appointment and haven’t seen Dr Shuster, but front desk staff named Ashley IS RUDE, Unfriendly and she’s a lia

As others have said, I can also confirm the Dr. Silva is very good at NCH pediatrics however the office staff is very low rated. I've called numerous days, multiple times, and no one answers. My wife also has called and even left 2 voicemails, 2 different days; no return phone calls. Very very seldom someone will actually answer the phone. Ashley was who I last spoke with saying they did receive the fax and will gladly bring it to Dr. Slilvas attention. Well that's been days ago and I still have no idea if the very important paperwork was taken care of as once again multiple days now along with multiple phone calls and day 3 of calling I finally had Ashley on the phone again.
