Let me start by saying that I love the people that work at this clinic that are military. They have always been friendly and kind and amazingly helpful to me.I'm giving it three stars because I am a disabled veteran and I cannot get into this clinic without help. One time when I was trying to get my wheelchair out of the car, two Civilian employees were leaving. I asked them if they could help me and their response to me was "I think that guy over there probably could" ... he was a patient leaving with Tape around his arm like he had just been to the laboratory! Now that MHS Genesis is up and working I have not had any problems scheduling appointments here. It may take a few days to get an appointment with your PCM, but they are always really accommodating. I have been a patient in this clinic since 2019 and have experienced many different care providers. The best was Dr. Modi in pediatrics, hands down. The immunization clinic and lab have been understaffed and have extremely long wait times, but the staff are exceptional. The pharmacy has been excellent recently, but I have had some missing refills during previous visits, and when I did not pick up a requested refill, the "refill" was no longer available and I had to contact my PCM for a new prescription or refill. Scheduling under TOL was much easier and appointments were available online; with the new MHS Genesis, online scheduling with this Family Health Clinic is non-existent. The nurses and doctors are very unprofessional. They act like you are a bother for even being there. My last appointment the nurse literally said " why are you here? You were just seen two years ago and we suggest every 5 years." Preventative care is almost non-existent anymore. The facility needs to treat people like human beings not a number.

I have been very disappointed with the scheduling procedures. I have shown up to an appointment and been told that it was cancelled. The clinic didn't call me to let me know it was cancelled, and they didn't message me in the messaging portal either. Now I have scheduled a virtual appointment (and confirmed verbally with the scheduling personnel that it would be virtual) just to find out that they changed it to in-person without notifying me either (I asked how virtual appointments worked, and that was when they told me it wouldn't be virtual after all). The doctors and other medical staff are kind and do take my concerns seriously but scheduling needs to be improved.

Since there is nowhere to address concerns on the website proper I guess I have to make this public. The system is broken, period. As a retiree, I have watched the slow but steady erosion of available care get to the point where I will just need to pay out of pocket to get acute care. No available appointments with a PCM for 9 days. Call the advice nurse so you can get "referred" to an urgent care clinic? Be prepared to navigate a 20-minute gauntlet of questioning that includes questions like "Do you live in a house, apartment etc.?" Why do you need to know this? An even bigger issue is that they ask the same questions EVERY TIME YOU CALL. If only there was a record somewhere of patient's info. It could be accessed by memorizing a number and reciting it when asked and it would open up a po
