Native Zen Massage

I booked an appointment for a chair massage due to all the great reviews here. My appointment was scheduled with Mike who also has great reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. As someone who doesn’t shake hands due to germaphobia, I was quite surprised at how rude and demeaning Mike was when I asked for a fist bump instead of shaking hands. It’s perfectly reasonable to decline a handshake for any reason, but i still usually feel the need to explain. Especially after Mikes reaction. He looked very irritated when I didn’t shake his hand and I told him “I’m sorry, I just have a thing with germs.” This man SCOFFED at me before walking away from me and shaking his head. He then said “I’m about to massage you anyways, but ok.” In a very demeaning and condescending manner. Mi

I was having intense pain in my neck/traps and shoulders. Very limited range of motion - it hurt to even lift my neck to drink a glass of water. My throat was constricted and it was hurting to eat, etc. I booked a session with Mike Jones and I'm glad I did. As a woman, I've not always been comfortable with male massage therapist I've tried in the past, but that was not the case with him. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. He shifted gears shortly into my session to better target the pain I was having by incorporating different techniques. What impressed me the most was how he seemed to know exactly how much pressure to use to address the issues, but not so much to exacerbate already tender/painful areas. That was a first for me. Been here 2 times and love it. I need to keep coming back. I also recommend it. Friendly staff and clean building. Offers a calm and enjoyable massage experience. My wife also loves it. The explain what each type of massage is as well so you can try different kinds. I had Mike as my massause and it was great. I felt great afterwards.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years and see Mike regularly for deep tissue massages, cupping and scraping. He’s absolutely amazing and I always walk out feeling a million times better and stress free. Highly recommend checking them out!

Today I booked a massage with Mike and it was incredible! We ended up shifting and doing a deep tissue vs what I originally booked. Not only was it exactly what I needed (I left feeling so much better) but I also appreciate Mike suggesting an alternative and providing his expertise on what made sense for my muscle aches/discomfort.
