National Spine & Pain Centers - Toms River

I have only had positive experiences with Dr. Li, Hannah (PA) & the office staff and MA's. My only negative is the phone system. Too many press this, press that before you are finally connected to a live person. It would be nice if we were able to reach a live person on the first try if we truly have a clinical issue. I understand it's a large, busy practice, but our issues are still very important to us at the time we call, not 24-48 hours later! Thanks so much for the exemplary service! 😊

They absolutely saved my life, I could not walk and needed a cortisone shot, for two months prior I was using another doctor, I was told by the office people a new girl there wrote the wrong wording on the submission paper that goes to the insurance company for approval, for that reason I was denied. I stressed to them I had a vacation and big job that took me out of state for a month and needed to have the shot they promised me it would be done, I had to go back for them to assess me and for Dr. To expedite approval number so he can do the procedure, to no avail, I was devastated. A day before I was supposed to leave still could not walk, I found Premier Pain Center, the office staff and doctor stayed after hours to look over my paperwork, MRI, X-ray, Etc. Dr.Ombao has been fantastic,. Since the first time I met him he took the time to listen and understand my condition, he did x-rays and spoke to me about what he can do for me. He has been a blessing. He cares for his patients and their well being. The staff is warm and friendly . I would recommend it highly.

From the setting of my appointment to the moment I walked out of the office this medical office it was nothing but professional and caring. I received clear instructions to complete my first time patient forms via email as promised. They have an application for curbside check-in, loved it! Waited in my car until asked to come in. There was only one person waiting and 3 minutes later I was alone in the waiting room. The perfect setting for Covid times. Even the pens are clearly marked as clean and a container to place the used ones. Another person came in, masked of course and more than 6 ft away from me and a few moments later I was called in. The people in the reception area are prompt and professional. Dr. Li was clear about my diagnosis and recommendations. I felt safe and well cared. T

dr mac & staff dr mac is the absolute best in every way possible! i have been a patient of his since 2017 and will never see another dr. in this field !
