National Naval Medical Center: Radiology

Why would you tell people to visit the online Radiology Appt if the website says, 404 error, you do not have permission to view this. So I called the number my doctor gave me and I have been on Hold with the silly music for an hour and 10 mins. TERRIBLE!

Been coming here for years. My experience has been good with anyone interact with. Any appointments I have are referral. Whenever I have called my calls we’re answered and whatever the purpose of my call; situation taken care of. The experience was fluid. The doctors and assistant’s have always be patient and nice. They seem genuine about the care provided. I’ve been all over this hospital. The basement area is a maze and there is a cafeteria on that side of the hospital. The various snack machines has something for everyone. The main level as you walk across from The America parking building, there are a couple of snack shops for café (coffee) and a sandwich.

Getting an appointment by calling them is insane. I have been trying to call them for the past 4 days and I keep getting the message that "they are experiencing a high volume of calls and can not take my call". No way to leave a voicemail or anything. I finally got a hold of them just now and I have been on hold for 42 minutes and counting. I was told I was number 3 on the list. I have been there a few weeks ago and they were just rude and only had like 2 people in their waiting area. I went to the desk to ask the young lady a question and she cut me off and said, " check in with the kiosk." They just sat behind the desk and had a conversation with themselves but ignored everyone else.

great staff. always have a pleasant experience here. however, trying to make a phone call to schedule an appointment at radiology is impossible. i've called about 15 times throughout the morning without the option of leaving a voice message. i do wish this was remedied.

We all need to respect those doing work in the Radiology Department. What if it was you having a procedures and the technician rushed you through the procedure? I recommend you just keep calling and you will get someone to help make an appointment for you.
