Nathan Littauer Hospital

I just wanted to say how greatful I am for nathan littauer !! I have been to quite a few hospitals and this one is by far the best!! The nurses were exceptional and gave me the best care. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with appendicitis. Had my surgery. Wonderful surgeon btw. Everyone was very kind and attentive towards me and kept me comfortable during my stay! And the food wasn't bad either lol shout out to nurse Holly, Rebecca and nurse barbara!! You guys were amazing. Thank you for everything!

I am incredibly grateful to Nathan Littauer Hospital, Dr. Husson, and the entire staff for their exceptional care and compassion. Dr. Husson’s professionalism and kindness were instrumental in putting my cancer into remission. Special thanks to Fern in the Infusion Unit, who administered my immunotherapy with such care and positivity that my visits were comfortable and truly uplifting. Her kindness made a difficult journey much easier. An outstanding team that treats patients with skill, heart, and humanity. Highly recommended.

I just yesterday had to utilize this local hospital for their emergency room services and I felt compelled to share my experience. The staff were ready and helpful, professional and thorough in their work and various roles. I was brought to my own cubicle area to be treated in no more than 10 minutes. The lead medical staff I personally was treated by was Dr. Laporte . She was kind and compassionate and offered me several routes of how to proceed and I felt she was very supportive and careful. During my stay there was another patient who entered and was causing such a scene. She caused such a commotion and was very disruptive and abusive towards all the staff with malice. When I told my neighbors that I was having a scheduled surgery at NLH in Gloversville they were shocked that I was not going down to NYU in Manhattan which had been my primary care facility for 20+ years. I'd moved upstate and have found wonderful resources locally and since I've made this my home it also made sense to me to use the local hospital. From check in to release it was A+ service and experience. My surgeon I'd already vetted and she was incredibly capable so that was no surprise. What WAS a surprise was how seamlessly everything moved from start to finish. The entire staff is skilled, well trained, competent and all were as well, very friendly.
