Nathan Averill, MD: Palmetto Primary Care Physicians

One thing I noticed about this establishment. If you don't have a medical card, you don't the proper care People are treated like a third class citizen. As soon as you tell them, you are self pay. Which is not a problem from any type of labs or medication. We need they basically walk up out of the office until you did not have no time for you my husband went today for the first time appointment to see Nathan. He literally told us in the office that I'm an alcoholic, that he does not have time to answer questions. He assumed my husband is an alcoholic.Because his liver enzymes are up.Also my husband does not drink his parents passed away from alcoholism he got very rude in ignorant with us.Because we had questions, he did not tell us the work results whoever's trying to go to this location

Dr Averill is a very good doctor. My son who is a Special Needs Adult has been going to Dr. Averill for years and he is wonderful with my son. I recommend Dr Averill especially with Special Needs. We are very happy with Dr. Averill. I have took my son to other doctors in the past and we weren't very happy but when we started seeing Dr. Averill he has been very kind, very patient and does everything he can to help my son. I wish we could give him more stars. Thank-you Dr. Averill for all you do for my son. Elaine

I originally saw Dr Averill for the 1st time in 2012. Prior to that I was under his his PA Emily's care at BFP. She moved to CO. w/her spouse 🙁. Dr. Averill is a VERY nice Physician! His staff are all exactly the same way. Lovely Ladies! I followed him from BFP to PPCP (Iron Horse Rd.) However, if you're looking for a Doctor that's going to sugar coat things. He's probably not the Doctor for you. He will and does give it to you straight. Unlike most Dr's now a days. He DOES care about your "medical needs". FYI Needs and Bedside manner are 2 different things. His bedside manner is awesome! He will DEFINITELY meet those! Obviously this is my own personal experience. I can't see him switching faces, so to speak with each patient though. Granted I've had my medical issues over the last 41 yrs.

Dr. Thomas is great, his staff however, HORRIBLE!!! Laura and Eric are by far the rudest individuals I have ever met. As I read these reviews, I can tell I'm not the only one that has encountered these problems with them. I can't believe they still have a job. My family of 4 DID go this office-but no longer. When going to a doctor, the last thing you want to deal with is rude staff when arriving and leaving. The last straw was when they let us know we owed money and we said we are aware there is a balance, but according to our EOB the balance is incorrect and we are in constant contact with billing over this, I wasn't going to pay anything consider the bill for 186.00 before this bill was also incorrect. Once I sent in my EOB's, to billing, they cleared it to a ZERO balance. With that bein

i enjoy this office... STAFF is wonderful and Dr Thomas is so laid back and a hoot. All my family goes there. i have never had a problem. i dont mind waiting, sometimes it takes a while, but that is because people are late and screw up the schedule or people have real issues that need to be dealt with and that takes time. Drs that take a long time are actually really helping their clients. people shouldnt be so quick to judge you never know what someone else is going through or has wrong with them....ERIC is so funny he is great with my kids i enjoy seeing him i could never image him being mean to anyone
