Napoleon Pediatrics - Uptown

I would like to commend Ms. Sheria Magee! After scheduling an appointment for my granddaughter who was having an earache over the phone with a lady at the Metairie office, I rushed to get to the NOLA office within an hour only to find out we had no appointment. The lady I spoke never put it into the computer. Needless to say I was very upset after taking the day off from work, traveling 45 minutes and rushing to get there in time. Ms. Magee was kind enough to call the Metairie office and make sure that my granddaughter got seen that day. She was compassionate, kind and understanding. She went above and beyond to make sure that someone else’s mistake was rectified.

What can I say but we've been blessed to have such great doctors at Napoleon Pediatrics uptown. From one side of Napoleon to the other side and now on St.Charles. We've had Dr.Estes from our 1st born who's now 25 and our last who's 14. Now that he's retired 😭😭😭😭 we have to find someone who is as loving as he was. We love Dr. Heller and the other pediatricians at the uptown clinic! I am always able to get a same day appointment if my son is sick. The physicians are caring and attentive and truly listen to my concerns. Dr. Heller even went out of his way to refer me to another speech therapist when the first one didn't work out. My son has been Dr. Heller's pt for a couple years now and we couldn't be happier to have found someone we trust with our child's health

Overall I have been pleased with Napoleon Pediatrics and their doctors. Everytime I've tried to get a same day appointment I've been successful. I have not been particular about which doctor my child sees and he's seen just about every one they have on staff. He has seen Drs Hider and Remedios the most and they have been great in my experience. Waiting room waits can be long but my biggest contention with this office is the wait times to get someone on the phone. The message everytime says "your wait time is less than one minute" and not 20 seconds later you'll get told "we're experiencing a high volume of calls." I don't think I've ever gotten through in less than 5 minutes. Additionally, I called 15 minutes before closing to make an appointment for the next day and the "our office is clo

I love our doctor, Sam Solis. He is amazing and the nurses too! Beyond that, I have absolutely nothing nice to say about the clinic. Messages will go ignored and unanswered. The phone ladies are rude as and the answering service ones are even worse. The poor doctors are overbooked and wait times to see a doctor are generally long. I think this is a case of poor office management and could easily be fixed if they simply addressed the problems.
