Nadia Akhmed, MD, a SignatureMD Physician

With the closing of my primary care physician's office I was looking to find a physician who would not only provide the care that I needed, but would do so in a collaborative manner. Dr Akmed not only works in that manner but has been a guide as I enter a significant transitional phase. She is thorough, warm and available to answer my questions and concerns. I feel that her knowledge and skills are what I am looking for in my primary care physician.

Dr. Akhmed is the most thorough diagnostician of any internist by whom I have been seen, in my many years and in many states and several countries. She quickly helps with accessing specialists when there is a need and follows-up quickly in collaboration. You will not find a better internist to care for you and your family.

Dr. Akhmed is always quickly responsive to patients' needs and will do a follow-up call. She is very proactive when it comes to a patient's health. Very thorough in her exams. I am a geriatric patient and she's quite knowledgeable about issues unique to the elderly. I'm extremely happy with her care.

Nadia has been out family Dr for 20 years. She found my father’s prostate cancer and I’d now my Dr and my husbands as well. She is patient, caring and listens to everything. She pushes for preventative care and explores every complaint I have to make sure it’s nothing to worry about. Her staff is amazing, especially Fiona , and she has a lab onsite.
