I am a 58 year old woman with an abnormal baseline heartbeat and other medical issues. At the beginning of this year they stopped taking my insurance. So now neither hospital in Saginaw takes my insurance. Greed greed greed! I have the #1 Medicare Advantage plan and have excellent benefits and my insurance pays them quickly. I will not go to McLaren, I value my life. I can’t switch insurance because this is the only plan that has all of my specialist which I 100% need. So here I am with this incredible insurance plan and none of the local “good” hospitals take it???? Do they even care about how many people this could kill? It is despicable to play with human lives because of your greed!! Insurance is insurance, if you have it you should be able to go anywhere. So instead of driving 20 minu

Would not recommend this hospital. My grandfather was placed here for care trying to determine what was wrong with his health. We found out he had internal bleeding and stage 4 cancer. My family overheard the medical staff and Dr speaking ill of him. “You can’t help people when they clearly don’t want to help themselves.” This is very disheartening to hear when your grandfather is terminally ill and going on hospice soon. Very poor bedside manner, not professional, and they clearly lack any professional care or a filter. I’m sad my grandfather’s last days were surrounded by this atmosphere and lack of care. He deserved better. The staff involved should find something different to do with their career because it is clearly not the public’s best interest to have this as their only option.

I’m sharing this because no family should have to beg for dignity at the end of life. If I could leave, no stars, I would. Our family had a deeply distressing experience during my mother-in-law’s final days at this hospital. The level of care fell far below acceptable standards. The room was unsanitary, staff response was inconsistent, and call buttons frequently went unanswered. Basic patient dignity was not maintained, which was extremely upsetting for everyone involved. Hospice care was not started in a timely manner, despite clear indications it was needed. This resulted in unnecessary discomfort and emotional distress at the end of life. Hospitals are responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and dignified care, especially in a patient’s final days. Unfortunately, that was n

I have had several visits to the IRC unit over the last year and have had the best care. They are always friendly and very caring. Absolutely love them all. The entire hospital staff are also amazing from the minute you walk into the door until you leave. Thank you !!!

The care team for my mom has been ok but it’s been six days and they have had her on bedrest the whole time. She was doing in home pt and ot to get her stronger. She hasn’t been evaluated for those when in the hospital. When I asked they haven’t excuses. They could at the very least get her in into a chair. Far different experience than the hospital we normally go to but they were not accepting transfers when she was sent by ambulance.
