Sad to see these poor ratings. My husband was airlifted by helicopter as pictured, today. He has been here 3 times for heart and trauma issues. Honestly, they triaged him immediately and ER Dr. Dan explained everything to me. You must understand this is not a high level trauma center and they have to assess if you go to higher level ER. They have always airlifted or ambulanced my husband to Midland; a higher level. I was here for a possible post op blood clot in my leg. They ultrasounded it and declared the cast was way too tight and referred back to the surgeon. All calls made were accurate and they have saved my husband's life literally a few times. Staff was very kind. Chaplain Laura took me in a room to pray with me. What a difference that small gesture made on my anxiety l

My daughter, a type 1 diabetic, admitted to behavioral health, upon admission, took away her insulin pump, and her dexcom, both prescribed and necessary. By breakfast she was vomiting by lunch she was in ketoacidosis. Her bs then, 455. Not a single person was able to help. They had to call up to the diabetes office. I will never allow her to be put in that place again.

I went here to get my pre-surgical work done. I was expecting the worst for wait times. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the process went and how well organized everything was (process, rooms and procedures). I didn't have to wait long for anything. I also thought it was a beautiful facility.

Horrible with communication. Can't speak to the quality of care he received. My dad was a patient there and was hallucinating, which they were not concerned with whatsoever and was not addressed before they discharged him. I was expecting a call from the social worker/case manager/doctor and waited 2 days with no call, and then they discharged my dad without informing me. I called up there to get info on what exactly took place and the woman I spoke to was snarky and was responding to my questions with question marks at the end of her statements, as if I was supposed to know these things already. The circumstances in which my dad was admitted to the hospital were dangerous and very concerning for me as his daughter, you'd think they'd speak to patients' family members with more care.

Facility does not respect patient rights to leave AMA. Admitted voluntarily for a safe place to stay during familial conflict, requested discharge 24+ hours later and was denied without involuntary hold paper work or a notice of rights. AMA refused without legal authority. Ridiculous.
