MyMichigan General Surgery

Michael D. Paulsell was assigned to me for an endoscopy procedure. I expressed that I was scared of being sedated (knocked out) for an endoscopy. He didn't say anything about it. I emailed the company through the portal. He was able to do it with a numbing spray for back of the throat and a mild sedation than being knocked out. When they mentioned sedated for emergencies, I started to freak out. I told them if they do the procedure if I have a hard time to stop what they doing / quit the procedure than putting me under. Instead of helping me through my fears, they told me to go find a different surgeon. It upset me very much. This place is VERY INCONSIDERATE and does not care/emphasize the patient's feelings. They took the easy route by dismissing my feelings than helping me with my probl

Had pretty good experience. My surgeon was Stephenie, she was super nice and explained everything. My surgery went super well. I did have a post op infection which was not her fault but if she would have listened the first time I went in for what I suspected was an infection we could have treated it then instead of 3 months later...

Excellent Surgery Specislist. I was admitted thru emergency for an immediate surgical emergency procedure. It went very well, saved my life. The surgeon that operated followed up with me each day whilst in hospital care.After I had recovered strength for 1 1/2 years I was able to have the procedure reversed back to normal. I had the same surgeon do that proceedure. He was excellent.

I have had Dr Puls do several surgeries on me and always had excellent care. I highly recommend him!

Very rude front desk girl..refused my care for not wearing a mask but girls in office weren't wearing one..doesn't seem right Won't go back..plenty of surgeons around
