My experience with Dr. Zukas over the past 2 years has been a huge blessing! She is absolutely the best! And I know what I'm talking about. My Gamma knife surgery was done in Pittsburgh in 2023 at Presby because I was visiting family for Christmas and had a massive seizure which turned out to be a brain tumor. I returned home to Myrtle Beach concerned about where I would get care. Everyone recommended MUSC. I couldn't possibly travel 10 hrs to Pittsburgh so the 2 hrs to Charleston was a easy decision. That's when we were introduced to Dr. Zukas. ALL the care at MUSC is top-notch and the Neurologist are great! But, I have never met a Doctor like her. She is engaging, compassionate, empathetic, patient, is so knowledgeable to deal with my situation mentally, physically, and physiologically.
I've received excellent care at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. They have been on top of my care from the 1st time I was seen. I love the Care Team of Healthcare professionals. They care about the patient.
We have discovered that MUSC in Charleston, Orangeburg, and Columbia are far superior for medical expertise, risk assessment, and are better medical facilities than others in Columbus, SC with which we are familiar - primarily Prisma Richland, Prisma Baptist, and Lexington Medical. We’re convinced my husband wouldn’t be around today without the professionals at MUSC.
We had the pleasure of attending the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center's LOWVELO Glow Blue event on 9/24/25. It is so great to see an organization that truly cares about the communities health, wellness, and vitality. Everyone we met was kind and excited to be there! Thank you for letting us be a part of Glow Blue 2025 and we are excited for more to come!
I just wanted to share that my Dr. Michelle Green is one of the most amazing, wonderful, considerate, caring Dr’s I have ever seen. Having cancer can be tough but she has done an excellent job getting me ready for my Car T cell transplant. I think Hollings Cancer Center needs to know what a good Dr they have and are very fortunate to have Dr. Green. Debbie Rector
