I have never cried at a clinic. Today I did. I was so embarrassed and defeated. I waited in the main waiting room (50 yard line) for an hour. After noticing another appointment pop up on my MyChart, I asked the employee sitting at the desk why that happened and told her I had been waiting an hour. I don’t mind waiting, I was just looking for a clarification. She interrupted me, asked my last name and I told her. She quickly snapped back saying that she had been calling my name. I was sitting 5 chairs away from her the entire time. I said, “I didn’t hear you, you must be soft spoken” to which she quickly replied, “No, I have a very loud voice”.
