MUSC Children's Health - West Ashley

Any other location you can be in and out in 30 minutes. This location? You can't even be out of the waiting room in 45 minutes. Every single time I have the unfortunate luck of being scheduled at this location, I can count on losing an entire afternoon. Good luck and save yourself the hassle, beg for an appointment at any other location if you can travel the extra distance.

The staff has been absolutely incredible. There's a lot going on on their side with the transition, trying to see like 30+ kids a day (presumably), getting accustomed to everything, having to deal with the system etc etc....but STILL ensure they're friendly, helpful and care about the kids first. I have 5 kids so between checkups, sports physicals, back to school records, and everything in-between I'm in the office almost once a week at this point. They have truly been amazing!! Everyone from front desk to pediatricians to calling the nurse, everyone has been tremendous. I've been taking kids to this location for nearly 5 years, and although I had no complaints before, the "MUSC team" is an absolute delight. I definitely appreciate you all!!

Ever since MUSC took over this practice everything has gone down hill. Forget if your kid is sick and you need appointment that day. Then they have a new patient portal that they didn’t bother to tell anyone about via email, if you go into the office you can see they changed. The new patient portal I don’t think any one even checks because I’ve messaged numerous times different things and nobody has responded at all. At least the last patient portal they had they actually responded and took the time to let you know things. We are searching for another pediatrician because I’m very frustrated with this whole transition.
