MUSC Children's Health - Summerville

I had separate appointments for 2 children. 1st child is 17 yrs old and able to go to the exam room alone; Never in my life have I ever seen a Dr ask a child to consent to getting a vaccine without mentioning it to the parent(17 is still a child). The 2nd appointment, we were left in the exam room for over 30 minutes with anyone even telling us what's what. The reception staff is great, but the nurses in this office lack any type of compassion and communication skills. They're very unprofessional. **Side note** I never want to see Dr. Rutledge in that office ever again.

I truly wish the staff here showed more compassion and professionalism. The way children’s health concerns are handled feels careless, and the front desk team’s rudeness leaves a lasting negative impression. Families deserve better treatment. Google should allow negative rating!!
