Mt. Carmel Animal Hospital

If I could leave zero stars I would. Took our dogs Guinness and Ajani here for years for their basic check ups. We never had any emergencies… until we did. Mt. Carmel failed us. They failed our boy Guinness. One day my 6 year old pup started breathing funny. He was totally fine one moment, then all of a sudden struggling to breathe. I called Mt Carmel and told them he was struggling to breathe. I even asked if I should come to them or go to the ER. They said to bring him there, so I did. Once I arrived, they were quick to get me in a room but the Vet seemed to have no sense of urgency. She took Guinness back to do X-rays. When she brought him back she left for about 5 mins while he sat there with me, tongue turning blue. She was taking too long. Finally she comes in and attempts to sho

Dr.Matt Mcgee is an excellent Vet. We are new puppy owners and novice at best. He makes us feel we can ask any question and not feel rushed. The Vet Techs are phenomenal with Louie our Mini Bernedoodle. Louie loves all the attention from the staff. Highly recommend this facility for pet care.

Great veterinarians with very nice, professional, and thorough staff. We feel like they do a wonderful job caring for our animals. You will absolutely pay a premium for their services but is worth it

As with any interaction between pet and vet, personality matters. All the staff and doctors are professional and caring, but not all are equally comfortable with my rather anxious herding breed dog. When we found Dr. Howard, we found someone with a true gift, not only to diagnose and treat, but to understand how to work with my boy to keep the visits low stress and positive, and to allow him to enjoy a life that would otherwise be severely curtailed by his overheating disorder. Thanks to her diligence and creativity my boy is able to both be safe, and to enjoy the active lifestyle he needs to be happy. Thank You!
