MountainView Urgent Care at Lohman

This urgent care is amazing. It's incredibly clean, well managed, and timely! Huge shout out to Elizabeth Kuchler, the NP I saw today as well. Along with running strep, flu, and COVID tests, she also made sure to do a proper physical exam. She fully listened to my concerns and needs and responded accordingly. I got meds that are sure to help, and she was so kind throughout the whole thing.

Went here with my partner as their healthcare advocate, and we had a wonderful experience. The whole facility was very clean, with friendly and professional staff from end-to-end. They were thoroughly screened by the intake RN after a very short wait. Major props to the Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Kuchler - she was kind, thorough, and watching her do physical exams was like watching a wizard at work! What is normally a stressful experience was quick & easy, and we were able to head soon after to the pharmacy to pick up medications (that were well explained!). We are never excited to go to the Urgent Care, but this will be where I & my roommate go to in the future!

I had such a great experience at the new MountainView Urgent Care on Lohman. From the moment I walked in, Desiree at the front desk was so kind, welcoming, and professional. My appointment was at 10:00 AM and she checked me in quickly and smoothly. I was called back by 10:05 AM, which was amazing — super fast and efficient! Dr. Michael Zavala was truly like no other doctor I’ve ever encountered. You can genuinely tell he loves what he does. He has such a positive energy that instantly makes you feel safe and cared for. He took his time, listened, and made the whole visit feel comfortable and reassuring. We definitely need more doctors like Dr. Zavala. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending this urgent care to others!

I usually have no issues with provider Stephanie Lynch when I take my children to go see her, but today’s visit was different. The Technician that took vitals from my almost one year-old daughter listened to my concerns thoroughly, but Stephanie Lynch did not. She was halfway out the door while I was still speaking on my daughter symptoms and medication that I’ve tried for her cough. Another technician came in and told me test results and approved prescriptions, she prescribed me something that I’ve been trying for the past few days, Cetirizine . I have 4 refills of this at the pharmacy, which Could have been discovered upon asking the right questions. . I went to this clinic 2 times within a few days in December. The front desk staff was mediocre, not very friendly. They also didn't bill my insurance correctly for the 1st visit. The NPs were ok and got a correct diagnosis for my daughter the first visit, but an incorrect diagnosis and treatment our 2nd visit. The other reason this is getting only 2 stars is to warn anyone that has a high deductible or self pay that you will pay more at this clinic due to hospital facility charges. All charges are sent as separate bills (facility, labs, radiology, doctors) and they really add up. I wish the clinic would have warned me about these charges. The facility charges over doubled the cost of a stand-alone clinic. I will not be returning as long as I have a high deductible plan.
