Mountain City Rehab Center

My wife is a resident at Peace Healthcare at Mountain City and has lived there for over a year. I visit her daily, enjoy having dinner with her, giving her the emotional support she deserves. During that time she has received excellent care from the nursing staff for which I am most grateful. I especially like the activities provided, the celebration of all holidays including church services where my wife and I worship together. I would be remiss if I did not recognize Ms. Marino, the administrator. When it comes to kindness, compassion and caring for others, she is the heart of her staff and sets a fine example as a true professional. I know my wife is well cared for because of her leadership.

They are very kind, loving, caring, people they all work together to make it a better place and it really shows they should be really proud of their selves for their good work!!! I thank you for taking care of my daddy so well not to mention that even the Place is kept clean. I highly recommend this place for a loved one.

If you have a loved one here, please keep a close watch. Ours suddenly declined, and the NP refused to do anything for weeks except drug him with pain medication. I kept asking for a UA and she refused. He was not eating or drinking and became delirious. He finally rolled out of bed onto the floor (side rails are dangerous you know). He was extremely frail, on blood thinners, and hit his face and head. We had to ask to have him evaluated at the ER. He had an infection, which is exactly what we kept insisting. The NP will blame everything on someone's age and existing condition (cancer) and can't be bothered to figure out what is wrong. They also seem to do things out of spite. They put a screamer in our loved ones room even though there are tons of other empty rooms. They will take the cal

a friend is there. The facility is always very clean and well kept. The staffare very friendly and see competent. My friend has made great progress from the therapy he is receiving. The medical attention when he firs t arrived was ver impressive. They are do a good job of catering to his vegetarian needs.

A close family friend who needs care that her family can't provide is thriving. She loves the outings to local restaurants, especially the activities, like bingo, crafting and spa day. Thank you for taking such good care of her!
