I initially encountered an issue with the timing of my first appointment and expressed some frustration and disappointment. Amber handled the situation with empathy and attentiveness, making me feel genuinely seen and heard. Her support completely turned my day around, and it's why I will be returning. Nasim was also an outstanding hygienist, too. She was thorough, kind, and highly skilled. I had one of the worst dentist experiences here. I book for a standard cleaning after some time without seeing a dentist. They called and asked to move my appt up, I agreed. I go in for my appt they see me right away go through all the new patients x-rays stuff and test. (The lady did keep putting the thing that's goes in my mouth on the table and then back in my mouth 😩) I see the dentist who is expecting for my first visit(1st mistake) she recommends I replace 3 of my fillings, that don't hurt bc of the risk of the cavities going deeper. I should've left well enough alone and not made the decision on my first visit. $2000+ paid with the expectation it will all be completed in one appt. (2nd mistake) Their crown maker machine was broken. THE WHOLE THING THEY ADVERTISE, SAME DAY CROWN/OVE

This is the first time I’ve ever been in tears after a dental visit, and I hope to save anyone else the same stress and pain. I was talked into a ‘deep cleaning for just one area’, which I thought was a little unusual considering my dentists the last 5 years have said I was not a perio patient and just needed a standard routine cleaning. Thought no harm if it was just one small area, and since I was here for a normal cleaning, should be fairly quick and painless. Instead, I had the most painful dental cleaning of my life done today, and have never jumped so hard in the chair. My gums were very painfully probed, I wasn’t aware I was receiving a deep cleaning of all my teeth, and no numbing or breaks were offered. I've been going to Mt. Vernon Modern Dentistry for over 10 years. I love going there. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The dentists are also top notch. I've had a good amount of work done and have never had any issues with any of it. This place is great for adults as well as children.

Well, Dr. Coston can, anyway. When I tell you this was the best dental experience I’ve had in my plenty-O years of dental services, believe me when I tell you. It was indeed the best experience - and it was a ROOT CANAL! Dr. Coston took his time to explain the procedure and helped me feel comfortable even through the minimual discomfort. The combination of his intellect and experience, coupled with his kindness and patience is the perfect recipe for a first-class root canal. My only complaint is that he isn’t a general dentist!
