Mount Vernon Internal Medicine

This practice has gotten worse and worse over the years. There hasn’t been one doctor I have seen, that has demonstrated that they really care. All they do is rush through the visit, they lack empathy. Very disappointing. I intend to never go back.

ERICA EDGE is a horrible nurse practioner. I have been a patient at Mount Vernon Internal Medicine for over 25 years and always had a fabulous experience, except with Erica Edge two days ago. I noticed there are other negative reviews about her here. Erica Edge was unfriendly, impatient, dismissive and curt during her entire interaction with me. She was visibly annoyed and put out when I asked her to repeat something I had not understood. Her voice even had a ridiculing tone as she impatiently explained again what I had not understood the first time. The fact that I am 67 years old didn’t seem to matter to her. Respect and consideration are clearly not values that this lady knows or understands. I pointed out to her that in the nearly 30 years that I have been going to this practice,

Recently started with a this practice when we moved to VA. Our Doctor in SC knew and recommended them . We have had 3 visits and an virtual visit and are pleased! We have visited Springfield and Alexandria and both were great!

Dr. Elesho is truly excellent—caring, knowledgeable, and an outstanding physician. However, the office policies and management have been a challenge for me. The strict cancellation and rescheduling policies make it difficult for those with unpredictable schedules, and unfortunately, this makes the office a poor fit for me despite the high quality of care from the doctors. I wish the policies were more flexible to accommodate real-life circumstances.
