Mount Auburn Health Care

I love many of the doctors that I've seen at Mount Auburn Hospital, however the bureaucracy is insane and arcane. Whether through the app or in person, one has to repeatedly complete the same forms over and over which is totally ludicrous. Also I note that the MyChart app is geographically segregated such that using my French phone I cannot have access to any of it... In this day and age that's preposterous! So overall most of the staff is great (do I have had two physical therapists in the past who were absolutely useless), but the administrative support is a disaster.

The midwife at this practice, knowing my pregnancy was both planned and wanted, knowing I was in a stable marriage, aggressively offered abortion to us on more than one occasion. WILDLY, jarringly unprofessional, verging on ghoulish. The practice itself still required masks in 2023. I was lectured for moving mine because my glasses were fogging.

I am very surprised by my experience at Mount Auburn today. A patient for two years - I have not felt this way before. The front desk receptionist was rude. I called to say I was running late due to traffic leaving Boston, and the office communicated friendly over the phone that it was okay to still come in. When I came in, the receptionist did not look up from her phone until a coworker asked her to. She then rudely spoke about my tardiness. The PA and Medical Assistant were also not as friendly as past NPs and MDs I’ve seen at Mount Auburn. I am disappointed.

From the providers giving bad care, the billing department being an absolute challenge, the rudeness of staff, and just the amount of difficulties I have had over the years with them. I will never go back to anyone affiliated with Mt Auburn healthcare.

Very bad attitude of the front desk called Yvonne. I was late for 30min because of traffic, I called front desk but no one answer. I showed her the phone call history and said so sorry, I could do reschedule, she told me for next year. I felt so sad and asked other for help, another nice lady helped me reschedule for 2 weeks later. Just be aware of Yvonne, she helped nothing only blame.
