Moua Family Dentistry

I chose to go there even the dentist's name Chia Moua was different from Va Moua. But finally he was Dr. Va Moua I was looking for. He was the son of a long time friend, back in Laos, France and California. I was very satisfied with this first visit to his dental clinic. He checked all my teeth, one by one, and I was given a good cleaning.

If I can give a negative star I would. Not recommend this place to anyone. Very bad service. If you are hmong and thinking about supporting hmong, there are other places to go and support and still get your teeth well taking care off. This place is very bad in every way. They care nothing but Money. I feel bad for anyone who enter this place for cleaning, fillings, crown anything you name it.

I been here couple of times, occasionally here for cleaning and had my cavities done here and ever since after their work on my teeth I am unable to chew hard foods on my left side of my molars, been in and out and they were still unable to fix it to how it used to be. I am now "banned" from here due to me canceling day of appointments. But if I know they cannot fix my molars why would I want to come back here?? I also have a chipped front teeth due to a drill hitting it, had email them about it but they had just brushed it off. Anyways front desk people are very nice and welcoming.

Please do not go here if you are considering a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Moua pulled my teeth and then gave me medicine for the pain even after expressing that I was unable to take that due to stomach sensitivity and IBS. I attempted to call back to see what else could be done regarding pain management. They were closed. What kind of dentist pulls your teeth a day before they close without an emergency line to call. I feel like this dentist let me down as a doctor you take an oath not to harm people and to help them the best you can. He also did a cleaning on me and it took all of 10 minutes. I haven’t had a cleaning done in over three years. It should have taken longer.

Very friendly and tolerant of kids. Unfortunately one of my children cried the whole time and still appreciated Dr Moua interaction with them. Offered a toy even if it wasn’t his appointment. I loved that the kids goodie bags contain a small toy in addition to the toothbrush. The toothbrush the kids receive are better than other dental location accepting Medicaid insurance. Winnie the Pooh! Dr Moua is very informative and Overall made me feel very welcomed as I was becoming overwhelmed with the toddlers. The office atmosphere shows a dedication to details with offering water and WiFi. Clean and simple set up.
