Moss Drug is, hands down, the BEST pharmacy in Gastonia. The owner, the pharmacists, and the techs alike all get to know their patients by name, and if you regularly have your doctor send your prescriptions here, picking up your medicine will in time feel more like going to see family and friends than walking into a store. The kind and caring staff are all happy to help their patients, and the customer service provided at Moss is absolutely unparalleled by any of the big chain pharmacies; the staff at Moss will go the extra mile in ways I have never seen at any other pharmacy, ever. The only patients I would not recommend Moss to are those who depend on GoodRx or similar savings programs. I have been a customer at this pharmacy for approximately eight years, and unfortunately, I have experienced multiple issues during that time. On one occasion, my fiancée called and was treated rudely and unprofessionally by a female pharmacist. On another visit, my prescription was confused with someone else’s due to having the same first name, which was both frustrating and concerning. Most recently, my doctor called in an antibiotic prescription, and it took over five hours to have just three pills filled. The delay was excessive and felt unreasonable given the simplicity of the order. After years of repeated negative experiences, I am very disappointed with the level of customer service and efficiency provided by this pharmacy.

I’ve been getting my prescriptions filled here for a while now and it’s always been a great experience. The staff are kind and helpful, and the store has such a lovely, local feel to it. If you live nearby, I highly recommend using Moss!
