Mosholu Parkway Nursing & Rehab Center

I was moved there after 6 months at Montefiore, this place was BAD. I was to be medicated at 12PM and 8PM. The nurses forgot the noon medication and at &PM she gave me both the noon and 8PM meds and I had to be ER hospitalized due to acute medicine toxicity. My room was right in front of the nurses station and it was sad watching all. The nurses making jokes and laughing while the entire flood the patients were in pain and crying. I was removed from here due to their mess up with the meds. Also while I was there since I am paralyzed, they left me with other 8 seniors in the hall with a loud TV in front and when a staff member brought me food he dumped it in the small table next to me and left, and since I am paralyzed it was so hard to me to ever grab the food. That place is a nightmare is not safe. The beds are broken. The patients are not well. Taken care of. They don’t look happy. The place is depressing. Under staff.

The care and quality of meals at this Moshulu Nursing Home and Rehab are nothing like what their website claims. The food is far from fresh or nutritious—it’s appalling and disgraceful. The selection and quality provided to residents are inhumane. We’ve witnessed mac and cheese served hard as a rock, and chicken that smells rotten with blackened insides. It’s unacceptable. What’s even more confusing is how this facility’s rating jumped from a 1-2 stars review to recent post of a 4 stars now. Based on what we’ve seen, that increase makes no sense. We have true photos and video evidence of the disgraceful food served here to our family member. Additionally, there are no private bathrooms for residents—just a common bathroom for all, with no locks on the doors. This lack of privacy and dign

I really love this pace for my nephew. He had a stroke. They are working hard with him. The staff PT and OT are so knowledgeable and very nice. The social worker so helpful. My new Phebe is making progress than God! Ps, the place a make over but it really doesn’t matter. The service is awesome.

The staff work very hard to take care of our senior family members. Working in a nursing home is not easy and the staff do their best. Just like ALL hospitals and nursing homes they are also short staff. My mom has been here 3 yrs if I thought the place was not taking care of my mom I would have relocated her. I'm satisfied with this place. My only complaint is I wish they would update the rooms more .
