Have tightness of breath issues. Have history of GERD and father had esophageal cancer. Didn’t want to check in yet because I didn’t quite want the fat ER bill yet. So I sat in the lobby quietly so I didn’t bother anybody. They made me leave. Because profit is more important than people.

So many one star reviews for the wait… it’s an ER. They see the most serious cases first. I was in dog a dog bite from getting bit at work and waited 5 hours before I was put into a room. I was triaged within 10 min and had my x rays done about 10 min after that. Yes, waiting sucks; but be glad to not be one of the people who require immediate help. The resident and attendee I was were amazing.

My Dad at age 91 had a massive heart attack on October 10, 2025 and was taken to Cone Trauma ER. He was treated as important as if he was 25 and had his entire life ahead of him instead of 91 with his life fully lived. The travel nurse, Skylar, was super and attended to all our needs as a family in shock. The Dr was also wonderful and explained all our options. The staff gave us time and concern and provided a complimentary snack tray so we never had to leave Dad's side. Dad entered heaven later that night but Cone staff made that transition as easy as possible on our family and we are truly grateful. Thank you to all the nurses, Doctors and staff who really do care. The Green family really appreciated all the care you gave to us!

Neurologist sent me to the ER for having seizures for 3 days…. Had another seizure while in triage and was made to wait in the main waiting room for 12 hours. Does someone have to flatline to be helped. While waiting 12 hours there was also an older man who they thought had a heart attack and was waiting right beside me. Do better

I went to the ER for a lesion that needed IV antibiotics and possible drainage. I had already been to urgent care and received oral antibiotics but no better after 4 days. I did the only thing I knew to do, go to the ER. When I got there the waiting room was not busy at all, (2:20pm on a Wednesday). I was triaged immediately, the PA that saw me in triage agreed with what I thought. I was sent to the waiting room where I waited 9 hours!!! Two ladies ahead of me had been there longer than me, both sent by their doctors and told not to leave until seen. One with kidney failure!!! While I was there only a very few were called back into the treatment rooms of the ER. I did see some, but not a lot of EMS activity. At 11:30 pm I decided I may never be seen. I knew there would be a charge that
