We are incredibly grateful to the Mosaic Hospice team who cared for my dad, with special thanks to his primary nurse, Jason Atkinson. From the beginning, Jason’s presence brought a sense of calm and compassion that made a world of difference for our family. Over the months since November, we developed a meaningful bond with him, and his steady support gave us comfort through each step of this journey. He treated my dad with such respect, warmth, and dignity—seeing him as a whole person, not just a patient. His care was not only professional but deeply human, and we’ll always be thankful for the grace he brought into our home. There are not enough good words to say how our family feels about this hospice group. They have helped us through some of the hardest transitions a family has to make and have done it with nothing but empathy, grace, compassion, and love from the moment they stepped in our door all three times. From first contact to the very end they make such a trying time manageable without ever rushing, pushing, hurrying or ever making you feel like a burden. They are there to answer every question you have every step of the way. These people are truly angels here on earth…all of them.

Most people equate hospice with death and don’t want to sign up. Thanks to Mosaic Hospice, we now understand that it’s about helping a loved-one Live to the very best of their ability comfortably for the time they had left. It’s also about the compassionate support of the family members as we struggled through grief and the practical steps of living. Earlier this year our dad became qualified for hospice.
