We would like to sincerely thank Christopher P., RN, and the entire Pediatric Emergency Room team at Morristown ER pediatrics for the exceptional care they provided when our son broke his arm. Christopher was incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring during such a stressful moment for our family. He spoke to our son in a gentle and supportive way that helped him feel safe and less afraid. His professionalism and kindness truly made a difference for all of us. We may not know everyone’s names, but the whole pediatric ER team was amazing — attentive, compassionate, and highly professional. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported and cared for. My son is 3 and he’s autistic. We’ve only ever been able to get blood taken one time and even then, it took 3x to get the needle in let alone keep him calm. I had an incredible group of nurses and doctors keeping my son CALM, keeping US calm in a time where I was freaking out because my son couldn’t stand up or walk due to the flu. They were so attentive, kind, professional and sweet. They had a sensory toy booklet to ease my son. This was insane to see, more hospitals need this, more pediatric hospitals/ urgent cares/ emergency rooms need this. I wish I can nominate every single person in this hospital. I took my son in today for a suspected broken collar bone. Everyone we encountered was very warm, friendly and helpful. My son is autistic and is scared of going to see a doctor. Everyone helped him feel calm and relaxed. Thank you to the team there, they took great care of us.

The staff here was amazing.. I brought my 3 year old son in tonight for a bad fall that I was worried caused a concussion. My son is terrified of hospitals and doctors.. they were so patient with us and went above and beyond to keep him calm. They did everything from seeing him in the hallway when we couldn't contain him in a room.. to placing us somewhere that felt less like a typical hospital room. They brought him toys, ice pops and a tablet to watch the wiggles. The staff was also very kind and compassion and worked around the fact that he is nonverbal. I was blown away by the experience and would recommend these people to anyone.

Took my 2 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room on Friday, November 29th around 1:30 in the morning. The reason was because my daughter seemed to have something stuck in her ear and she was in a lot of discomfort. When I took her I explained to the nurse at the beginning why we were there. Previous to this visit a day before we went to some urgent care where they just said my daughter had pus and double ear infection and got prescribed antibiotics. My husband and I felt like the diagnosis was not correct as the doctor that saw our daughter at the urgent care was a fellow/ doctor in training and seemed quite nervous when he came in to the room to a screaming child.
