More Than A Gym

My daughter has been going to More Than A Gym for over 2 years now and we love it here so much. All of the therapists are great! The facility is very spacious and they have a lot of different toys and equipments for the therapists to use during the sessions. All of the therapists really work hard to help your child reach their goals. They have truly made a difference and continue to do so to help my child. I would 100% recommend parents to bring their child here if they need speech, OT or PT.

The OT/PT/Speech therapists at More Than a Gym (Great Neck) did a phenomenal job taking care of my son. They are attentive to his needs, anticipate what he'll need to work on next to achieve his next milestones, and keep him engaged and happy. My child has been working with his therapists since he was around 6 months old. They are so good at working with little ones and I felt very comfortable that he was in their care. Most importantly, my son enjoys coming to More Than a Gym and he truly adores the therapists he works with, which is more than I could ever ask for. Thank you MTAG!

My son received speech therapy 3x a week with Miss. Elana for 9 months. In that time he grew immensely and his speech flourished. He looked forward to their sessions together and always greeted her with a huge smile and hug. Their policies on lateness and absences are very fair. The coordinator/office manger Cynthia always offered a makeup session in the event of an absence. The gym is very nice and clean. All of the other providers who worked there were always warm and engaging. My family is eternally grateful to Miss. Elana and More Than A Gym.

We have been at More Than A Gym for two years now, and couldn’t be more thankful we discovered this facility and its amazing therapists! Both my children received PT, OT, and Speech, and each therapist was just as wonderful as the next - all skilled in what they do, are kind, loving, and patient with my children. I have seen so much improvement in all areas of need since starting here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for services for their children! Worst therapy place ever. All they care about is getting paid. They have no interest in the wellbeing of the children who need services. Per their policy, you basically can't take vacation/school break and your child is not allowed to be sick for more than a week and a half (if receiving 2 sessions per week, and of course more than one week if receiving 3 sessions per week). They would discharge your sick child with no mercy based on their "policy". They try their best to kick you out even with twisting the rules as long as they feel you are holding up a spot that is not being paid for. The new receptionist is extremely rude, condescending and disrespectful. Avoid this place at all costs. It will only become your nightmare down the line.
