Moorpark Health Care Center

My family and I had my father and my mother in this “home” at separate times in 2017 at the end of their lives. It takes a very special person to care for those unable to care for themselves. Each and every one of the Moorpark Health Care Staff are that special person. We were so blessed to find Moorpark Health Care Center. To know that your loved one is being treated with dignity and care at a time when you are losing them is the greatest comfort one can have. From the moment we stepped into this lovely “home“ to when we had to say goodbye, every member of the staff treated our family with genuine kindness. We marveled at how organized and skillful everyone performed their duties, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Moorpark Health Care Center!

This place isn't what it seems. Be careful when choosing this place. We were very disappointed in the care they gave my beloved dad, especially the night staff. Just let me say as an RN of 15 years I expected compassion and quality care from this place, but it was a HUGE disappointment. I still have to write my letter of complaint to the center but my heart hasn't been ready for it. Yes, it's clean. Yes, it's a beautiful place. I can't deny that but there is far more involved in the care of a loved one then just those things. Not one staff member even came into my dads room after he passed to say they were sorry other then the man from the funereal home.

Incredible care by our 24hr nurses taking very sick patients and giving them quality of life in a beautiful home setting. Subacute care with vents and trachs and IV's. Just amazing RN round the clock care.

If you want your family in a loving and compassionate place this is the place for you all the nurses are amazing from the RNs to the CNAs. They make patients the number one priority you will not be disappointed.
