Moore than Speech

An amazing speech therapist! My twins had stagnated in their progress via school-provided speech therapy. It was time to get them the support they needed. From the initial assessment, I felt Kim “heard” exactly what we were concerned about. She is always patient and informative about her approach, what the goals are and what progress they are making. We are incredibly grateful for her knowledge, compassion and for the progress we are making now. We have used private speech therapists three times, and I can confidently say she is the BEST!

I can't say enough great things about Kim! I contacted her when my son was 2.5, and he only spoke a handful of words. We were so scared as parents, and unsure of what his future would hold. Kim has a very warm, caring, compassionate personality to where I knew I instantly trusted her with my son. She is so knowledgeable in her field, and was able to quickly assess his needs and also learn who he is as a person, in order to be able to work with him in a way that he responded to. She has worked with him twice a week ever since (he is now 4), and he is fully conversational with an unlimited vocabulary! I sometimes joke that he talks so much now to make up for the first couple years where he couldn't speak. Kim is truly an expert, professional, and wonderful person to work with and know.

Kim has changed my sons life! At 4 years old, he was almost non-verbal and used a handful of words daily. He has been in speech therapy for about 2 years, both at school and privately and we’ve worked with several SLP’s during this time. Kim was recommended by his teacher and she was able to see him, just a few days after my first conversation with her. From the time she walked into our house, my son was extremely comfortable with her. She has a calm about her, that he immediately felt and in their first session he started speaking CLEAR words. Kim has worked with our son for about 2 months and he is now speaking in full sentences, he interacts verbally with other children and adults. Our family has enjoyed our time with Ms. Moore at Moore than Speech. We have been very happy with our therapy services. She is very kind, informative, and supportive. I have seen my son grow and flourish during our time with her. I highly recommend her to anyone!
