Monterubio & Herbosa Oral Surgery

I was actually referred to Herbosa by my orthodontist so my husband and I took my eight year-old son to see him. We waited in the room for 30 minutes with the door open where you could hear other people getting work done which is fine, but my eight-year-old already had dental trauma which their office knew when I booked the appointment. I asked to close the door and was looked at like I was crazy. The doctor came in and had the absolute worst breath I’ve ever smelled ever. And then he proceeded to tell my eight-year-old how he was going to extract his six teeth and he was going to “make him feel drunk like he would feel if he had drank a six pack” and I kindly informed the doctor that he was eight years old and did not know what feeling drunk meant. We had appointment for my son to remove his wisdom teeth today at one before he doing his surgery. The nurse came in and she started scaring my son telling him it gonna be really painful and he have to switch from during the laughing Gas to anesthesia after we discuss this with them and my son had food before the appointment. Then the doctor came in and he was killing my son in the same way even harder and he told himthis is his first time looking at his x-ray and he really think he needed to put him honestly while during the third journey I really don't recommend this office. I head out with my son right away after talking to the doctor and that nurse not professional at all.

My review is probably a little different as we had some issues with my daughter when she had 4 teeth removed in February. My daughter has some anesthesia issues which are apparently genetic on her mothers side. Dr. Herbosa knew this going in and his staff did their best to take this account during her procedure. My daughter had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and did stop breathing during the procedure..... This could be a negative review, but my 100% heartfelt thank you to Dr. Herbosa and his staff. They were cool, calm, and collected. The Doc knew what he was doing and did everything within his power to make sure my daughter started breathing and his team stayed on top of her during the much longer than usual recovery. My 15-year-old son had 2 permanent premolars pulled this morning. He was very nervous, the staff did an amazing job calming his nerves. Dr. Herbosa also calmed him down as they discussed Hockey. From the time I called in to make the appt. to the very end, we had a great, welcoming experience. I highly recommend Dr. Herbosa and staff.

Dr. Herbosa and Jessie at the Tesson Park location were amazing, comforting and quick! The office was very nice and I felt cared for from start to finish. If I should need similar services in the future, I would absolutely return. Thank you again!
