Incredible experience from start to finish! I’m so grateful to the team at Monterey Peninsula Endodontics, from Erika at the front desk, to William, and especially Dr. Jon Dean. They explained all the steps and costs clearly, and made sure I felt calm and informed the entire time. As someone who hadn’t gone to the dentist in years because of fear and pain sensitivity, I was seriously nervous, but they made me feel completely at ease. They even offered calming gas if I needed it. After my dentist referred me, they were able to squeeze me in quickly for a root canal, and I can’t thank them enough for that. I felt no pain at all during or after, I even fell asleep during the procedure! That’s how gentle and professional they are. Highly recommend Dr. Dean and the entire team!

Dr. Jon Dean was amazing. I had no mouth pain during the root canal procedure or at any time after. During the procedure when my shoulder started to hurt Dr. Dean immediately stopped, sat me up and waited while I found a comfortable position. If you ever need a root canal I highly recommend Dr. Dean.

The Staff is impeccable, polite, knowledgable. The clinic is like a spa. And the Doctors and their assistants professionalism ranks among the best I have ever experienced. My wife has some significant anxiety with dentists. She went for a root canal. I explained to the office staff the need for nitrous so she can be calm. The receptionist immediately said it would be an extra charge. I explained I was not concerned about the money. Dr Meckler and staff did not give her nitrous until after the injections which very much freaked her out. The Doctor admonished her saying “I do this on eight year olds.” Nice bedside manner. At least Sandy the assistant was very kind and helpful. The procedure went well after the nitrous. The receptionist at the end spoke of only billing one insurance until I pointed out we had two. She then dismissed me by saying “oh they will pay you if there’s anything but this is what you owe now.” At least it seems the root canal work was go

As great an experience as a root canal can be. Dr. Meckler and Victoria worked efficiently and painlessly to treat my damaged tooth. They communicated to me what was going on throughout the process and I'm pleased my dentist sent me to this practice. Plus, Victoria is so kind and compassionate!
