Monterey Animal Hospital

Our ten year old dog Bella has had bladder cancer since January of this year. Between Monterey Animal Hospital and the Animal Cancer Center Bella has still has life. HUGE thanks to Dr Mulder and the amazing Monterey Animal Hospital staff who are amazing.

I have a beautiful mini Aussie who gets anxious, difficult and aggressive whenever we go to the vet. It’s downright embarrassing 😂. The staff and doctors at the Monterey Animal Hospital have never made us feel like trouble coming, even when we stunk up their office after she had rolled into something dead on the beach and ensnared herself on a barbed fish hook, or the time she expressed her anal glands all over the floor. A muzzle and some sedation has been required on a number of visits. Oh my girl, how I love her so, and thank you Monterey Hospital for your kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this office.

As we spend most of the summer months in Carmel getting away from the heat in Vegas, we needed a vet for our Border Collie, Tweed. Our neighbor Betty here recommended Monterey Animal Hospital, and we are so glad she did. The doctors and staff at M.A.H. are excellent caregivers, and take the time to fully explain what your pet needs and why. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional, making both pet and owner more comfortable during the visit. We highly recommend Monterey Animal Hospital for your fur babies. We are first time vet clients and this place made us comfortable and happy. Very easy, friendly, fast appointment, helpful staff that seemed genuinely happy to see us, and our 14 year old pup is happier than she has been in years only a few days after starting treatment! They were helpful and informative. Very appreciative these folks are here, and that we chose to try them first! The pricing was nothing bad as we had feared, and in fact seemed a bargain for the area.

Nothing but great things to say about this place! I tried three different vets in the area, none seemed too interested or helpful at all with my pups situation. From the office staff staff, techs to the vets themselves - they’ve all been amazing & seem to genuinely care about what they do. Grateful we found them!
