Montefiore Pediatrics

Worse experience ever. I took my child there who is less then 2 years old and I had to wait couple of hours before doctor come. This is my first and last visit with this hospital. Never recommend to anyone. Think twice before visit this hospital.

I thought this only happened in Third World Countries - Apparently NOT: STAY AWAY from this Emergency Room, as well as the adult one. Hours to be seen (we are talking 4-8 hrs here), and they racially discriminate patients. In my case we went in and waited along with 20 other patients; here comes a white couple with their daughter - boom seen in 15 minutes. REALLY? I truly believe appropriate changes will not be made until something devastating happens (someone dying), who knows if this has even happened already, i'm sure they wouldn't say anything anyway. Three patients left because they got tired of waiting, i was the 4th in leaving after 3.5 hours.

My child's doctor randomly invited in another specialist and introduced her to us. We politely shook hands and introduced ourselves. It was literally less than a minute chat. Nothing related to my child health. A few weeks later they sent us 660 dollars bill for this doc besides from the primary one's. Keep making unethical money Monte. You guys are ballers! xx

Wow montefiore what happened? Heard so many good things about this hospital and been in the waiting room for my 5 year old for 2 hours. Haven’t even gotten a bed yet. ER for adults I understand, but not pediatrics. Sad.

Worst hospital I ever been they take forever to give attention to the pacients, it took me about 10 hours literally to my kid to be attended by a doctor and in my opinion is because of doctor not vocation and disorganization from the hospital. If you have time to take a moment and think where to take him i highly recommend dont bring them here.
