Thank you Dr.Schafler for taking care of my father while his PCP is out of the country. Thank you for being an amazing doctor and going above and beyond. What an amazing doctor to handle things and follow back up personally. You are 1 of a kind. I 100% recommend and trust Montifiore with my father’s care.

They don’t deserve the one star as I tried more than 40 times to get someone on the phone for an appointment but no one answers. This place is a joke. System problems have been occurring since July 2025. It is now December 2025.

Today i schedule a same day appointment to wait for over an hour when we got there ( on time !) which is crazy because the receptionist gave me multiple choices of time slots the Dr was available and god forbid you're late for an appointment lol ... I only like to see my daughters primary care doctor. We never wait over 10 minutes and they left us in the room I really think they forgot about us. Only to make it home and the Dr calls to say for me to call if I have any questions or concerns...like you have to be kidding me yall have alot of time on your hands.. I'll advise you to use that time for your patients...more beneficial. I'm finding another place to go because I've had it with this place.

I am 75 years old and a long time patient of Dr. Gover. I am presently in florida and receiving care for a different ailment at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Gover was aware of my predicament and did not seem to be bothered by my arrangement and I would see her while in New York. Recently my medication provider told me that they were not receiving replies to their requests for my medication. After several calls and hours on hold, I was told that Dr. Gover was no longer at that location. I advised the person on the phone that I was completely out of medication for my diabetes, and other medications. I was assigned another doctor for a six week appointment, however, I was advised that my medication prescriptions would be withheld until after the appointment 6 weeks away. Tried to get an appointment here and they don’t have any. They place you on a wait list and never call back. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months now for an appointment. I have to look for somewhere else to go cause i should be able to see a doctor within a reasonable time frame. This is not at all reasonable. And yes, I’ve been coming here for years but it was not like this prior.
