Do not go to Dr. Swanson. He will not set up needed testing if you have not paid your most recent bill in full. I was supposed to get an important test in January, but was not contacted by his office to set up an appointment. I called in April to set up the appointment and they told me it was because I hadn’t paid my bill. The fact is I had paid my bill prior to calling them. Their unprofessionalism prevented me from enjoying summer in Montana.

I read the previous reviews and was nervous about my appointment, however I wanted to go in with no preconceived notions and judgment. I LOVED my experience Shawn (sp.) at the front desk was warm, friendly and empathetic! Dr. Swanson was highly knowledgeable and put me at ease after a 20 year struggle with Temporal Lobe Seizures. He was thorough and encouraging! I now have follow up appointments as early as one week...which I feel is unheard of now days. ❤

I started with Dr Swanson in about 2008 and found him to be a very knowledgeable Dr. It took a long time to get my Complex Partial Seizures under control, and only by having a Vagal Nerve Stimulator implant am I able to function normally. He turned me over the best NP ever, Beth, and she has done an outstanding job with my care. She takes time to talk and visit, sometimes going over my allotted time. She made arrangements for replacements of my VNS, I'm on #3, and made sure they were programmed correctly. Always on the portal for questions and answers. Now she is leaving and that makes me sad. So now I start over with someone else. I will miss her. 😞❤️

I have epilepsy which cause me to have grand mal seizures if I do not have my anti convulsant medication. His office went a week and a half before responding for a request for a refill when I was totally out. Thankfully my pharmacist gave me an emergency supply so I wouldn’t miss a day. I switched my primary physician due to this ridiculous mishandling of life threatening withholding of medication. Dr Swanson is wonderful, but unfortunately one has to go through his horrid reception staff. They outright accused me of just being there at my last appointment “just because I need drugs” mind you after they said I had to come in to get refills a year ago. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have two young kids and a wife that would’ve likely woken up to their father/husband seizing to death.

I was able to schedule an appointment through the VA with Dr Swanson. RN was very attentive, listened and knowldegable. The office staff was professional, friendly and helpful! Dr Swanson and his staff were able to give me answers and promtly set me up for an appointment for further tests. Thank you for such a great experience, through difficult times!
