09/01/2023 (appointment date). I’ve never had glasses before, so this was my first experience. The woman that actually looked at my eyes and examined me was very friendly and professional. I had zero issues with her. The other women in the office were not very friendly. Picking out my first pair of glasses was very awkward. The worst part of my experience was that I was told (by the woman who actually wrote out and ordered my glasses prescription), that my glasses would likely arrive by the next time I was going to be in town, which was almost 2 weeks away. I live 1.5 hours away, so I didn’t want to make a special trip for the glasses. I called the day I was in town to see if they had arrived and the woman on the phone was rude, saying that “you were told it would take 3 weeks. We will ca
I've never had an issue with previous appointments when Dr Hall was my eye dr and the gals that worked there a couple years ago weren't nearly as rude as they are now. Same issue with the receptionist being clueless on asking insurance questions I let her know prior to the appointment I needed to know the price of the exam and how much I will have left for my glasses limit as I have a new insurance. She called them and didn't even ask if my insurance covers glasses. Today I called and the first gal that answered was more than willing to email me my prescription. I didn't receive the email so I called again around 12:30. The gal who answered was so extremely rude and told me they don't email them and it's only mailing or pick up. The gal earlier was more than willing to help which I told he
My eye examination was uncomfortable. The Dr. spent max 15 (non-consecutive) minutes testing my vision. It was my first time at this office and they had no history on me, so my appointment should have been much longer. I spent at least 35 minutes in the exam room, however the male doctor spent his time inquiring about me for his “single son”. I’m not adverse to compliments nor to kind conversation, but the doctor was demeaning about my pursuit of education. He insisted I was just “partying in college”. At the end of my appointment he stated word for word “I shouldn’t be doing this, but you seem like a great girl. Could I set you up with my son?”. If I had received an accurate prescription then I wouldn’t even complain about any of this. But my prescription is completely off, my previous e
Dr. Hadnot is wonderful to work with. She does a great job educating on issues, does a very thorough exam, and I've had no issues with my prescription. I look forward to every appointment I have with her. The front desk ladies and the lady you order frames through are a different story. I misheard my appointment time once, so I arrived late. The front desk people were very short with me and were very agitated we needed to reschedule. Later, I got a call that the doctor would not be in, so we needed to reschedule again. Not a problem. I gave them my availability, but the person disconnected without telling me the new date and time. When I came in 15 minutes before check-in, and the woman acted very irritated that I was early. No winning here. When I picked out my frames, that lady was shor
I have been going to Montana Family Vision Care for the past 9+ years. They have always gone above and beyond to ensure that I am happy with both my contacts and glasses. They have always been accommodating to eye injuries and fitting me in the schedule same day. They also have on of the largest selections of glasses(both Medicaid and non-Medicaid) and sunglasses to choose from and they offered at a really good price compared to other clinics. They have a large variety of contacts to try on till you find the one that works for you! I honestly couldn't hope for a better eye clinic for my eye care. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. Also love the Backwoods Montana theme of the office and the warmth provided by the staff. Please go in and visit, you wont be disappointed!
