Mon Health Wedgewood Primary Care - Cheat Lake

In June, I went with my sister, to the walk in clinic who had no doctor, only a "PA", as she had symptoms of a cold. We walked out with no hearing. No questions asked regarding covid, no listening to lungs or chest, had to asked for cough medicine. Was only given antibiotics and they irrigated one ear. Now going to ENT specialist for her hearing. Will never go back to this clinic.

This is a situation that it's frustrating there is not a zero star option as that is more on par with their practices. I don't understand how we let this world turn into such a money grab for simple things like an inhaler refill. Out of town and they refuse to call in a refill as I was 2 days past a year from my last visit but I was welcome to come back in for a visit after I returned for $250+ (was my last year's bill to be seen over asthma that I've had since birth) to see if I still require it.

They sent my balance to a collection agency before even giving me a bill. They are also very difficult to get a hold of and rarely answer the phone. I often have to follow up with them to get prescriptions filled. The only positive is the physician I see, John Huber, seems to be a decent guy.

I just made an important call to the receptionist desk to check on an upcoming scheduled appointment with my PCP. I waited for five minutes... no answer to the call, I finally hung up. I waited five minutes and called again. This time, I wanted for a minute and finally had a few one word conversational reply from the receptionist regarding the appointment....."YEP and "YEP". Is there such a thing as on the job professionalism and proper communication skills! What a disappointment. I think I am going to be getting a new PCP at a different location. other than Mon Wedgewood.
