Julian, Crystal, and the Modern Dental group have been part of our team for at least 15 years... I say part of our team, because the open communcation, excellent quality of work and positive attitude have been just what we would expect from a team member in the office. Cases arrive timely and well packaged; when we forget to attach a photo, Crystal kindly reaches out with a quick reminder. I have had a relationship with Modern Dental Laboratory since before it was called MDL, back when it was Northwest Dental laboratory. I have always been happy with the implant restorations this lab provides as well as their workmanship, customer service and honoring of their warranties with no quesions asked. Their technicians are also extremely knowledgeable and I like that for the last ten year when I have called Julian is available to offer quality control and technical guidance.

Modern Dental always takes good care of us. We appreciate their reliability.

Overall they are OK. They are cheaper than most labs because they send crowns to China and default to the cheapest material unless stated otherwise. There is no consistency of shape and appearance of crowns made for us, have gotten lots of crowns with bulbous appearance, they have given us the wrong material for crowns before, have lost cases in the mail, scheduling is 2.5 weeks for a crown with very limited ability to rush cases, this is not good for aesthetic work especially veneer preps where temp crowns come off easily so a faster seat date is best.
