Mitchell Hammock Pet Hospital & Boarding

REVIEW UPDATE 2020: Been bringing my Cocker Spaniel, Stella, to Dr. Dudley since I moved back to Florida in 2016. We all laugh, because Stella goes to the Vet way more often than I go to my own doc, and she has an amazingly thick file to prove it! She is 11 years old, with lots of elder dog issues, and is well cared for at Mitchell Hammock, both when she is there to see the doc, and when I board her there. The entire staff at Mitchell Hammock is outstanding. They really care about the health and comfort of my pet and whatever anxiety I may have. Dr. Dudley is very thorough in explaining procedures and diagnoses. I wish my personal physician took as much time with me!!!

The worst experience. The two young girls on reception were just clueless and unsympathetic to my needs. A simple dog vaccination that i assumed to be around $50 and they tried to charge me a $30 registration fee and a $70 check up and then a further $180 for the vaccination. It was like being in a twilight zone episode. No-one listened to me and the vet kept coming in and out of reception pretending to be busy but obviously trying to covertly navigate the ensuing incompetence. When they finally showed me the bill, before doing the vaccination, of circa $285, I just laughed and walked out. I went to another place and it was $87 for exactly what I asked for, and not a complete runaround waste of 30 mins watching two brain cells trying to input my email address into Windows 95. The best Vet I have ever been to, Dr. Dudley took great care of my cat Tiger! The staff are super kind and helpful and made sure my cat was comfortable during his visits. Dr. Dudley believes in providing great care to my cat so he can live a long life. Thank you for the great service you provided and for taking care of my cat. I initially had a great experience with Mitchell Hammock Pet Hospital & Boarding, particularly with their boarding services. During my first visit, the staff were incredibly accommodating when I requested at drop-off on a closed business day. I was so grateful for their flexibility that I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, my second stay did not meet my expectations. One major disappointment was the sudden price increase from $19 to $25 per day for boarding without any prior notice. I only found out about this change when I went to drop off my dog and was asked to pay in advance. They were kind enough to adjust the rate to $20 for this boarding but it would have been nice to receive knowledge of this when the appointment was booked back in July. Furthermore, I provided detai

Mitchell Hammock Pet Hospital and Boarding is amazing! Dr. Dudley and the staff took great care of my dog Hadassah. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They made sure my dog was comfortable during the visit and were very thorough in their exam and recommended testing. I felt they really cared about my dog's well-being and went above and beyond to ensure that Hadassah lives a good, long, and healthy life.
