Mitchell County Regional Health Center

Dr Hargens is probably one of the best Dr's I've had. And I've had alot of them I highly recommend him, I hate to do it because it's hard enough to get him, but he is fantastic !!! This is a great little clinic they do a really good job for such a small community.

After the CEO, Shelly Russell terminated one of the best doctors, Dr Haganman.... I will never set foot back at this hospital! She was even found guilty of lying about things she said about Dr. Haganman and had to pay him for being found guilty of defamation of his character, but yet they terminated him on her lies!!! He was there 30 years and I miss having a great doctor! I've seen 7 doctors since he left and don't Care for any of them! So I go without health care rather then seeing a doctor that don't even know you or your health situation and don't care either! Haganman was a doctor that cared about all of his patients and you knew he was always there to turn to!! Shame on Shelly Russell and the board at Mitchell County Hospital in Osage ,Ia!!!

I can not express how great our experience was at this hospital. From registration process through nurse to meeting with dr... unbelievable. Sincerely cared for my son and his health. I never give reviews but I just had to give Mitchell Co. Regional Health Center Osage a 5 star... keep doing what you are doing.

I used emergency room services for covid complications and couldn't have been more satisfied. I wish I had specific names, but the women who took care of me were the most compassionate, knowledgeable, non-judgemental Healthcare professionals I have ever had the pleasure of taking care of me. There weren't any other patients waiting. So I was taken care of immediately. They. Knew exactly what I needed and my comfort level went up 100% almost immediately. It was worth the 30 minute drive to receive such quality care. Highly recommend.

I came to the Osage Hospital from a different hospital after having a total hip replacement. The whole hospital staff was so compassionate and caring, and made my 9 day stay in swing bed a pleasant experience. We are really fortunate to have such a wonderful group of doctors and nurses and staff available to us in such a small community, and we should be most grateful.
