Mission Move Physical Therapy

When I was looking for a pelvic floor physical therapist, my friend recommended Grace, and I am so glad she did! Grace is a wonderful physical therapist! She worked with me throughout my pregnancy and after my delivery to ensure I was able to maintain my strength, flexibility and keep my pain under control. She helped me to continue lifting weights safely throughout my pregnancy and created a workout plan for me after I gave birth. Grace always made me feel at ease and really helped me achieve my goals. I highly highly recommend Grace!

I was recommended by a friend to see Joel at Mission Move while training for the New York City marathon. I was a long run and the pain I felt in my knee stopped me on my run. I was previously very over weight and learned I had arthritis in both knees. Together, Joel and I worked together to get me to the start line of NYC strong. We started with PT exercises and then moved more into strength building designed for runners. I finished NYC feeling strong and ready for another marathon. I will continue to see Joel as needed because he’s that good!

Dr Joel and Dr Grace are fantastic! I went to see them earlier this year to help me deal with upper back pain. Their approach to physical therapy and recovery were perfect for me. They helped me focus on stretching and strengthening exercises that worked, and put me on a program that I can sustain myself over the long term. I am super thankful to them and I highly recommend Mission Move. I’m a fan!

I went to two different concierge clinics before I found Joel and Grace. The others worked on alleviating the pain with dry needling and manual techniques, but Joel and Grace were more interested in finding the cause of the pain and correcting it from the source! I had certain muscles that were weak and causing other muscles to compensate, and that was with the source of my pain. They also watched my form with certain exercises and made sure that they made corrections that could’ve also been contributing to my issues.They were able to give me specific exercises in an easy to follow app (with videos of me while I was in therapy with their verbal queuing), and it made all the difference. If you are in pain, these are your people!

Joel and Grace are both so wonderful, there aren't enough words or characters I could write here to express how grateful I am to them both! They are so knowledgeable and diligent in their assessments to help not only identify how to rehab injuries, but also to help you get to the root of the problem (i.e., how you got the injury in the first place!). They made me feel so comfortable and taken care of, I trusted them instantly. I would recommend the Mission Move practitioners to anyone nursing an acute injury or looking to learn more about how to prevent worsening of a chronic injury while continuing to participate in the activities they love on the regular. I look forward to continuing to work with them!
