Miramar West Animal Hospital

Not a good time and not very helpful people. I brought in my pet to have them examined since I had just adopted , and to schedule a future neuter. My cat came in the most peaceful and was very calm until the vet walked in they the door angry at something else that you could hear him arguing from the other side of the door. Brings in the bad energy into our room and the pet starts freaking out. I had them out of the cage very calmly until this man started raising his voice. And then screams at his employees to hold the pet down like a rabid animal. Then to only notice later at home after this horrible experience that he had not washed his hands after lunch and my pet smelled like onions for almost two days!!! Disgusting!!! Worst part of all, they gave me a quote for over $500 just to neute

I would like to say Thank you beyond measure for taking great care of my elderly cat, and seeing us on a short notice. I brought her in when she wasn’t eating or drinking water, and I honestly thought she wouldn’t have made it if I hadn’t taken her right away. Princess has made a full recovery, she is eating well, and happy again. I am Grateful. Great service, customer care, knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate all of you at Miramar West Animal Hospital. 10/10 strongly recommend.

If you plan to travel overseas with your pet, DO NOT go to this clinic. I made the mistake to trust that these people knew what they were doing. All seemed fine at first. Until it was time to return to the U.S. Thats when I was informed that I would not be able to return with my dog. All because West Miramar Animal Hospital failed to provide a required reentry document. You would think that a USDA accredited Vet would be abreast of all current travel regulations. The worst part is that when i desperately reached out to this office with my issue, and patienly explained to Nancy that there was a new requirement for this document and that i never got it, thats when it all began to fall apart. My dog received excellent care. Dr. Rivas is an extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate, and kind veterinarian. Honest and reasonable pricing for services. I have not met Dr Gonzalez yet but I have heard he is great as well. Staff is friendly and professional. So thankful to my neighbor for recommending Miramar West Animal Hospital.

Words cannot express how attentive, compassionate, and knowledge Dr.González is. He knew exactly what was wrong with my schnauzer and took extra measure to rule any other underlying conditions. His staff were welcoming and attentive. I’ve had my fair share with other vets and they cannot compare to Dr. G in the slightest. You can clearly see the love and passion he has for his job. The cost was absolutely fair, I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve spent thousands in other offices. Thank you Dr.G for helping my sweet boy!
