MinuteClinic at CVS

0 stars, by God! I first made the terminal error of asking the pharmacist about minute clinic. He was so disturbingly ugly I totally neglected the see the huge “Minute Clinic” sign and instead followed his misleading instruction to go to the cashier at the front of the pharmacy to inquire instead of pestering him with this.. where to my horror the woman at the front screams at the top of her lungs thatvif I want to be seen in the clinic fora n illness I have to make an appointment that they’ve got nothing to do with them/. So that everyone in the store thought I was sick. Great. No one’s business. So much for health confidentiality. I walked out. Unacceptable. Update: I now see the former experience was a blessing in disguise. 🤣 Moral of the story: go anywhere, anywhere! but here.

Literally the only person sitting in the waiting area, says she can't check me in, services two clients, comes out to only me sitting in the waiting area to say her next appointment is in 6 hours, after I already waited an hour. If thats the type of person looking after my health, I'd rather go get proper care at the hospital or hell, even a 7-11 is probably more qualified

Extraordinary MinuteClinic and check out experiences!! Both the NP (Kim) and Diane who was checking us out we caring and well trained. The NP even took the time to walk my 101 yr old hubby to the car and stayed with him until I got back from shopping.

Great people to work with. Got done what I needed to. Low stars is likely due to people expecting this to be like an urgent care. It is not. Also, google says this is a walk in clinic. That is not true. When I walked in I was told that walk in is only if there is appointments available.

Long story short. I wasnt tested for anything just diagnosed, incorrectly! I hate to leave a bad review, Kimberly was very nice. I came in with cold and flu like symptoms. Instead of testing me for flu, strep, covid, and whatever else she diagnosed me.with the flu and prescribed tamiflu and another antibiotic. I found out later that my father-in-law has covid. I tested myself this evening and was positive for covid.
