MinuteClinic at CVS

I was a walk-in patient. There were two other patients with scheduled appointments before me. The wait time was much shorter that I expected. Christine, the Nurse Practitioner, was terrific! She was very personable and professional. She did an excellent job removing several stitches from my hand. I would definitely use this clinic again if I needed urgent care.

Made an appointment, got there on time and checked in on time, waited an hour for someone to see me, no one ever came. Seemed like there was no one at the clinic at all. No one called my name ever. Edit: Doctors Just don't call names very loudly. There's chairs all around but make sure to stay as close to the door as possible, otherwise you might miss your name being spoken. Dr was great and the visit was quick after I found out were to sit.

NP Elizabeth Prudent was amazing and caring, she addressed each of my concerns with attention and active listening. Booking appointment was easy and I didn't have to wait at all. I highly recommend minute clinic at CVS and most of all I highly recommend Elizabeth Prudent NP, she is the best!

Bad experience. 1/6/2026, I called earlier and was told I could walk in without an appointment. I arrived, checked in, and waited for over an hour. After that, I was told I could only be seen if one of the scheduled appointments didn’t show up, and she couldn’t give me an estimated wait time. It was a complete waste of time. After waiting over an hour, I was then advised to go somewhere else. I later booked an appointment for the same evening came back but still had to wait another 20 minutes. It felt like having an appointment didn’t matter at all. Very frustrating experience. If walk-ins are accepted, there should be designated time slots between scheduled appointments to accommodate them without disrupting others. Otherwise, walk-ins should not be accepted at all. I had a great experience at the minute clinic at the CVS on Pompton Ave. This was my second visit there and as before the facility was very clear. The nurse practitioner, I believe her name was Christine, was very personable and professional. I was seen at the exact time of my appointment and after testing and physical examination I was given a diagnosis. She prescribed medication and fully discussed its effects. I was able to pick up the medication at the on site pharmacy a few minutes later and was out in about thirty minutes. I would definitely recommend this location if you are seeking medical assistance as it was quick, convenient and comfortable.
