Miller Nursing Home

I have not enjoyed my visits to this facility. Every time I came to see my mother in law she is all ways in pain and she all ways seem like she has not been checked on for hours. The amount of time the staff spends on there cellphones astounds me. Some of the nurses seem like they care but the majority seem like they can't be bothered. I also get highly annoyed with the visitors parking. Never seem to be a spot and there was only 1 other visitor was signed in the day I visited... I definitely do not recommend this place. If you can choose a different place you should go with them. Special mention to Candace the only nurse I know that cares.

Please do not send your love one here.. my son just past away here never call me to tell you they were sorry. Never took good care of him anyway.. Always got a different nurse got move 3 times in least then a years from room to room.. Don’t put your love one here just take your money and wait for them to die… They will give them lots of meds keep them comfortable and sleep .. so when you go see them they will sleep..

Please consider finding an alternative facility if possible. My family member experienced a severe decline after being placed here. If you or your loved one absolutely must go to this facility, as was the case for my family member, I strongly recommend hiring a private sitter or arranging for someone to visit frequently and advocate for them. The staff will try to tell you that you cannot and will not recommend anyone. If this happens, call the local churches and they can direct you to someone. I live out of state in Florida and could only visit once a month and I truly wish I had been able to be there more often.

My close friend who was a resident passed here and it would not have happened had the severity of how sick she was been taken seriously to begin with. The ER ignored and pushed her to the side the night before. Instead yall waited til last minute when she coded and yes I have reported this entire thing to the HFRD.

Read and believe the bad reviews on here regarding Miller Nursing Home. My daughter was placed here for a year and it was thee worst experience she had ever endured. My daughter is a quadriplegic, and we had to involve law enforcement for patient neglect. A CNA was withholding food from my daughter because the CNA was too lazy to feed her. Another incident involved a different CNA who was being physically rough with my daughter during baths and while changing her underpants. This particular CNA was reported to her superiors for not utilizing the correct care that was requested by my daughter. When the CNA was approached by my wife about the multiple incidents to be discussed, the CNA and a nurse became loud and argumentative. However, there were a few shining stars here though that dese
