Mill Run - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center

My experience with Mill Run Care Center has been absolutely wonderful. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, supported, and cared for every single day. From the nursing team to therapy and activities, everyone treats residents like family. The facility is clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The therapy team is knowledgeable and encouraging, helping residents regain strength and confidence during their rehab journey.

Our experience at Cranberry Park at Mill Run has been very positive. My mother received excellent care during her time there, and we are truly grateful for the compassion and attention shown by the staff. Cristine and Isha were especially wonderful. They treated my mother with kindness, patience, and genuine care, which made a stressful time much easier for both her and our family. It was clear they truly cared about her comfort and well-being. The facility itself offered plenty of activities to keep residents engaged, including group activities, parties, and music nights, which helped create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. I was in Mill Run skilled nursing for about 5 weeks after an amputation and heart attack. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Every once in a while I had a long wait after using the call button, but that was rare. They made sure I was able to transfer to and from a wheelchair safely. Occupational and physical therapy staff were encouraging and gave great guidance. They continue to treat me after leaving the facility. The social worker made sure my needs at home would be taken care of upon discharge. My television died one evening, and it was replaced the next morning. The gentleman who drove me to my doctors appointments was timely and was quite the talker, which made the ride pleasant. My mother spent a few weeks in this facility to recover from fall injuries. The admin staff and caregivers were all very friendly and helpful and treated my mom with empathy and respect. The facility is clean and comfortable and is in a very nice and convenient location. Additionally, their team of PT/OT’s were patient and helpful, and the social workers were exceptional in helping us with next steps and numerous options for extending her stay and helping navigate everything with mom’s insurance company. We appreciate all they have done to help our family.

I have lived at Mill Run for three years and I have enjoyed my three years here! The staff has helped me enjoy being here because they treat me like a person and not a number. Sophie is one of my favorite aides, she is so gentle and sweet! All of the nurses are amazing and so kind!! The whole staff at Mill Run comes in to check on me and say hi, they are all like my little grand babies. I have made so many friends here and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else at this point in my life. I highly recommend anyone to stay here and come join my/our family!
